People Awards Regulations
How Laureates Are Selected
The People Awards is not a popularity contest. The decision to grant the award is made by the editorial board of Teens and People magazine based on a combination of factors. We believe that recognition should reflect genuine contribution, not the level of publicity or number of followers.
Each potential laureate is considered individually. During the selection process:
-
The editorial board examines the nominee's professional achievements and reputation.
-
Recommendations and feedback from readers, clients, and partners are taken into account.
-
An analysis of public activity, expertise, and real influence is conducted.
-
The analytical department assesses the candidate's contribution to their field.
-
An extended list of candidates is formed and submitted for internal voting.
In certain cases, invited experts may be involved in the evaluation. They participate in the voting as jury members, providing professional assessments in their respective fields.
Why We Do Not Conduct Open Voting
The People Awards is not granted for likes or fame. We do not initiate mass online voting, as it often turns into a competition of budgets and fan base activity.
Our goal is not to select "the most popular," but to recognize those who truly influence, create, inspire, and change the reality around them.
